Launched in July 2025, the CB Football ‘Academy’ program is designed for players of all skill levels who want to accelerate their development under the guidance of Head Coach, Charlie Beverley. These sessions are aimed at developing a players’ individual technical ability in an environment that is both challenging and enjoyable. Through structured training sessions, we believe true development comes from mastering the fundamentals and applying them in game situations . Our academy provides the perfect environment to grow and succeed not only as footballers but also people. In 2026, the ‘Academy’ teams will look to enter tournaments locally and around Australia to provide opportunities to players to test themselves against some of the most talented juniors in the country.

Looking for a way to keep your child active and developing their football skills during the school break? Join our CB Football Holiday Clinics - designed for players aged 6-14 of all skill levels.

CB Football is excited to launch the FNQ School Football Cup, running from 1–3 September 2026 in partnership with Peace Lutheran College. The event will bring together schools from across Far North Queensland for three days of football, teamwork and community spirit.

Featuring competitions from Under 8s to Under 16s, the tournament offers students of all abilities the chance to develop their skills and enjoy the excitement of competitive play in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Teams will compete in a fast-paced 6-a-side format, showcasing school pride and strengthening friendships as they battle it out for the title of FNQ School Champions.
