Bringing schools together for three days of football fun and competition

CB Football is excited to announce that it will be hosting the FNQ School Football Cup from 1-3 September 2026, proudly delivered in partnership with Peace Lutheran College.

This much anticipated event will bring together schools from across Far North Queensland for three unforgettable days of football, teamwork and community spirit. Set against the stunning FNQ backdrop and Peace Lutheran College facilities, the tournament aims to celebrate the region’s passion for the world game while creating an inclusive and energetic atmosphere for players, families, and supporters.

The Cup will feature competitions for students from Under 8s through to Under 16s, making it one of the most diverse school football events in the region. The tournament offers a platform for every young footballer to develop their skills, test their abilities and enjoy the thrill of tournament action. With multiple age divisions and a supportive environment, schools of all sizes are encouraged to take part.

Teams will compete in an exciting 6-a-side format, designed to keep matches fast, fun and full of action. Schools are encouraged to rally together their most passionate players, form their squads and step up to the challenge. Across three days of competition, teamwork will be tested, friendships strengthened and school pride put on full display as teams battle it out for the honour of being crowned FNQ School Champions.
